Deposits and Payments

A non-refundable deposit of 30% is required to secure your order and booking date. This allows me to order necessary items such as toppers, florals, cake boards, and other materials, as well as reserve your spot, as I take on a limited number of orders each week.

Please note, your order is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

In the event of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable. However, if your event is postponed, your deposit may be transferred to a new date, subject to availability.

Full payment can be made upfront if preferred. Alternatively, if only the deposit is paid initially, the remaining balance can be paid in cash on pickup

Changes to orders & bookings

Requests to make changes to orders or bookings must be made as early as possible.

While every effort will be made to accommodate changes, they are not guaranteed and are subject to availability and timing.

Sweet Delights reserves the right to decline significant changes made at short notice.

Custom orders

All products are handmade and customised. While Sweet Delights will work closely with clients to achieve the desired outcome, exact replication of inspiration images cannot be guaranteed.

Creative interpretation may be required, and minor variations in design, colour, and finish may occur.

Allergy Disclaimer

Sweet Delights operates from a kitchen that handles common allergens, including but not limited to nuts, gluten, dairy, and eggs.

While all reasonable care is taken to prevent cross contamination, all products are may contain.

Collection & Care

Once an order has been collected or delivered, responsibility is transferred to the client.

Sweet Delights is not liable for any damage occurring after collection, including damage caused during transport, handling, or storage.

Clients are advised to transport products on a flat surface and store them in appropriate conditions.

Dessert van hire

Dessert van bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure the date.

A minimum spend applies to all bookings. If the minimum spend is not reached during the event, the remaining balance will be payable by the client.

Clients must ensure suitable access for the van, including safe parking and any required power supply, unless otherwise agreed.

Additional charges may apply for travel outside of Dubbo or extended service times.

Events and Cake & Sip events

All Cake & Sip and private event bookings must be paid in full or secured with a deposit, as specified at the time of booking.

Due to limited availability and preparation requirements, cancellations—particularly at short notice—may result in forfeiture of payments made.
